Dr Dylan Young

Dr Dylan Young has a background in interdisciplinary research. He has worked on the process-based DigiBog peatland development model to simulate the impact of climate, and restoration on peat accumulation on slopes. He also worked with stakeholders in the UK uplands to co-develop a network-based model of blanket peatland interactions. He led the initial development of PeatDataHub; a project that aims to combine peatland datasets from around the world as a database of monitoring sites.
